What you expect
As a mechatronics engineer, you will ensure the smooth running of production and business processes. You will install and service our mechatronic systems with their electrical sub-assemblies and components. In addition, we will show you how to construct, test and program electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems and how to achieve outstanding results in manual and automatic machining, separating and forming. We will also give you an insight into the secret of good operational and technical communication and optimum work processes.
What you will need
- Secondary school leaving certificate, advanced technical college certificate, general higher education qualification certificate or equivalent
- Good graes in mathematics, physics and English
- Technical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Ability to think logically
- Good communication skills and team-player qualities
- Sense of initiative
Course duration
3.5 years (can be shortened by 6 months in the case of good performance)
Course structure
The course requires you to spend 1-2 days per week at vocational college. The course program also includes supplementary internal and external seminar events. You will take the first part of your final examination, consisting of a written paper and a practical test, in your second training year. The second part of the exam, also consisting of a written and a practical test, takes place at the end of the course.

- Qualification in a state-certified vocation
- IT training courses to qualify for the ECDL (European Computer Driving License)
