What you can expect
In the course of your training you will learn how to set up, run and maintain the machines, devices and systems used in plastics processing. You will also learn how to read, use and create technical drawings and documents, and acquire the necessary knowledge about various plastics, rubber types, additives and auxiliary materials.
What you will need
- Secondary school leaving certificate, GCSEs or equivalent
- Good grades in mathematics and German
- Ideally basic English skills
- Talent for organization and communication
- Good sense of initiative, capacity for logical thought and team-player capability
Course duration
2 years (1 year’s supplementary training as a warehouse logistics specialist is possible in the case of good performance).
Course structure
The course includes one to two days per week at vocational college. You will be employed in the factory or warehouse on the other days. The course program also includes internal and external seminar events. Your training course will be concluded successfully with an examination before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Kassel-Marburg.

- Qualification in a state-certified vocation
- IT training courses to qualifiy for the ECDL (European Computer Driving License)
