B. Braun inaugurates Europe’s most modern production site in Saxony
Wilsdruff/Melsungen. On September 4th, B. Braun Melsungen AG opened up Europe’s most modern production site for dialyzers with a celebratory inauguration event in Wilsdruff. Dialyzers are filter units for the dialysis of people with chronic kidney failure. With this investment, B. Braun hopes to double its production capacity in Saxony.

The innovation laboratory "werk_39," together with the chilli mind design agency was recognized with the "iF gold award" at this year's iF DESIGN AWARD in the category of Service Design. Second design award for 3D camera heads from Aesculap
For the second time prestigious design award for Aesculap: The subsidiary company of the B. Braun Group won the internationally coveted German Design Award for their innovative 3D camera heads used in endoscopic laparoscopy. Aesculap already received the renowned Red Dot Award for this last year.

Four start-ups chosen for the B. Braun Accelerator Program
