The devastating 7.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal on 25 April 2015 caused a death toll of more than 5,000, with tragedy beyond words affecting families and massive damages to homes, buildings, roads and other infrastructure. More than 3.5 million people are estimated to be in need of various types of assistance.
