There are two special anniversaries to celebrate: twenty years of the Aesculap Academy in Tuttlingen and ten years of the Aesculap Academy in the Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus in Berlin. The Aesculap Academy has made a firm commitment to the transfer of medical knowledge. This commitment dates back to the opening of the Aesculapium in Tuttlingen on September 15th, 1995. The comprehensive range of quality-controlled continuing medical training is now available in more than forty countries, with seventy coordinators planning courses according to Aesculap Academy guidelines in the respective countries. The number of participants speaks for itself: almost 750,000 participants over twenty years – this is a concept that succeeds.

This double anniversary is a good time to look ahead. This is how Managing Director Felicitas Janßen describes the challenges facing the Academy in the future: “The Aesculap Academy will continue to pursue its unique policy of being close to the customer and proactively exchanging knowledge and experience: in other words, Sharing Expertise. We offer not only intelligent solutions for all indications, but also advanced medical training for everyone involved in the healthcare profession –nursing staff, doctors or clinic managers.”
