In a bid to inspire young people to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM),  the Penang State Government and the Penang Science Cluster have held the “Penang International Science Fair” for the last three years. The main sponsor B. Braun and 57 other companies take the opportunity to present the innovative power of their products and technologies, and to present the related scientific work behind them.  B. Braun also offers special workshops for children and young people. “There are plenty of opportunities here to explain how science works to young people, as well as to present ourselves as an innovative employer”, says Dr. Eng Hooi Sian, General Manager for Regional Medical Scientific Affairs B.
